Celebrate the end of summer by experimenting with natural dyes. Join us in the Kitchen Garden as we look at plants and how they were used to color our world in the colonial period. Kids will make their own colorful tie dye shirts with contemporary dyes.

“Picture this...”: A Look at the Science Behind Photography
Celebrate World Photography Day by learning about the history of photography. Documents and photos tell a story and help historians create a picture of the past. Participants will create a cool work of sun art which demonstrates the fundamentals of photography using found items on-site.
