Global Tales & Traditions: Hispanic Heritage Month

  • Surratt House Museum 9118 Brandywine Road Clinton, MD, 20735 United States (map)

Let's take a trip around the world! Celebrate cultures and people from across the globe by exploring a variety of traditions and how they are preserved. Each month will feature a different heritage community, children's book, and applicable craft. In September, we'll focus on Hispanic heritage. We will be reading Mango, Abuela, and Me by Meg Medina with illustrations by Angela Dominquez, and we'll be making papel picado banners.
