This installment of College Park Aviation Museum's Youth Aviators Program will be an introduction to the world of Air Traffic Control. Air traffic controllers have the important job of directing and tracking pilots for safe takeoffs, flights, and landings. Student participants will learn the phonetic alphabet and radio lingo used daily by air traffic controllers, the procedures and protocols they follow, speak with professionals, and more.
This is a weekly Saturday program. The dates and times for this program are: July 6, 13, 20, 27 from 10 am - 12 pm.
This is drop in program for teens ages 12-high school senior.
Students must be able to attend all four Saturdays in order to participate.
